It is the foundation of the organization, and at the same time, the cement of the organization.

The image of the hedgehog is derived from the book “Good to great” by Jim Collins (highly recommended!). In the book, Collins argues that the power of the hedgehog lies in the fact that the animal is completely focused in what it is good at: rolling itself up in a ball when danger occurs, and sticking out its spikes. The fox, one its natural enemies, tries all sorts of cunning tricks to eat the porcupine, but hardly ever succeeds. Simply because the porcupine keeps hold of that one strategy: “do what your are good at”. At Vivaldi Software we too want to focus on what we are good at as an organization: developing and implementing software for quality, document control and workflow.

Vivaldi Software has been in possession of the ISO9001-certificate since as early as 2006. A nice confirmation of our dynamic vision of quality, but in no way a final destination for us. Since 2009, our working methods, processes and control systems have also been in line with the requirements of the US FDA (Food & Drug Administration).
