Folder permissions.

For each folder in the tree structure, you can specify who can create new documents or folders under the main folder. These permissions can easily be applied to all subfolders.

Document access rights.

Document access rights are assigned to roles or functions in the organizational chart. The assigned access rights apply for access through the Windows client and the Web interface as well as for direct links to documents from the intranet, website or other applications.

There are a few additional document rights in Vivaldi Document Management than are available in the traditional access rights of MS Windows:
  • Read
  • Create a new version
  • Send for review
  • Publish
  • Access to history
  • Access to archive
  • Change access rights
  • Send to recycle bin

Apply rights templates to a folder

A template with document rights can be linked to a specific folder. All documents created under this folder will inherit the template rights from the parent folder. These template rights can be assigned to all subfolders and/or documents in the blink of an eye.

Testimonial

“Our group purchased Vivaldi QMS in 2002. Vivaldi Document Control allowed us to achieve a greater level of interaction between people on the work floor and the documents they use on a daily basis.”
