Hedelab chooses Vivaldi QMS!

Hedelab S.A., an agro-alimentary laboratory specialising in the creation and production of food supplements, became the first European company to obtain an ISO 22000 certification, a real safety guarantee in the field of food safety. Hedelab is dedicated to the creation and production of food supplements intended for the dietetics and well-being markets.
The two young entrepreneurs, Olivier Troger and Gilles Gernaey, go one step further in this "success story" which began in 1998 with the purchase of a company situated in Frameries, active in the field of phytotherapy (well-being via plants) since 1974. Since the acquisition of the company the two entrepreneurs have succeeded in doubling the Hedelab's activity, tripled the number of collaborators and in 2003, moved to a new production site of 6000 m2 whilst conforming to the strictest food safety
standards. Hedelab's key priority is to guarantee the best quality and highest food safety for both its customers and consumers. These efforts have been crowned with this first European food safety standard.
